There are lots of problems arouse for Electric Vehicles owners about the hard way for them to recharge on the freeway. What might cause them if in the middle of nowhere, the battery is low, the need for recharging stations were not insight? This will end them to stop and walk many km away to find one bloody needy recharging stations.
Telekom Austria has the rightful answer for this major problems. They had begun converting its 13,500 phone booths around the country into battery recharging stations for electric cars, scooters and motorbikes. To date, they planned to make it 29 out of 13.500 phone booths by the end of this year which is the first one is unveiled in front of the company's Vienna headquarters in May.
This effort will boost the numbers of green car ownership within the country which to date only 223 electric cars and 3,559 hybrid cars registered. Recharging is free during the trial period but they eventually plans to charge a single-digit euro sum for the recharging service, with payments to be made via mobile phone.
